Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I decided it was time to make my journal friends only (except for the occasional psa). So if for some reason you've stumbled upon my journal, and want to friend me, feel free. Just leave a comment, and I'll be sure to add you back.

It turns out that having a list of all the movies I've watched is helpful so I'm trying to do this again.

100 movies in 2011Collapse )

And I'm going to add a book list too because I still haven't successfully completed this.

1. Hunger Games
2. Catching Fire
3. Mockingjay

Um...putting 5 hosts on the stage together. Not sure that was such a good idea.

Heidi Klum is the best host though. I liked her and Tom Bergeron together.

I love tina Fey!

Ah! They're starting with the one I actually care about! Neil Patrick Harris deserves this. And Jeremy Piven won again. Damn.

I love Julia Louis Drefus!

One-Day LJ Content Strike

For one day, Friday, March 21, make no posts. Make no comments. Let there be NO new content added to LJ.

SUP obviously does not realize that Basic users have given something of value to them, that it is content that drives the site.

So, for one 24-hour period, from midnight GMT to midnight GMT, let's see how many people we can get to pledge to contribute NO CONTENT.

This will create a permanent downward spike in the daily-posts statistics, a permanent reminder of the power of the userbase.

**Full information and details are at The Fox's Den and here.**

copied from ritinha, who copied it from someone else originally. Hopefully that's okay.

I'm not overly up in arms about the basic account thing, but I know some people are pretty upset, and I'm not one to pass up any opportunity to protest 'the man,' so I plan on participating.

Today is the Live Earth concert. For anyone that hasn't heard, this event, these Concerts for a Climate in Crisis are happening all over the world. There is at least one artist performing on every single continent. Plenty of huge names, some that aren't so big. Listening to some of this music that I've never heard before is pretty fun. It's quite an amazing undertaking in my opinion. And for one of the best causes around. Watch it for a while, check out the website, answer the call.

I strongly encourage everyone to read this post by Joss at Whedonesque. It has nothing to do with firefly, so even if you aren't a Browncoat I emplore you to read it. It's about humanity. About being not just a decent person but a good one.

As a 15 year old with no real income I don't know how much I can help right the wrongs of this world. And for Dua Khalil it's too late. But I can do this, spread the word, and hope that some of you guys will be affected enough to do something as well.
